The son of John R. & Rebecca Buttz, in 1860, he was a law student living in Oxford Township, Warren County, New Jersey. He stood 5' 7" tall and had black hair and black eyes.
Nygaard, Hjalmar Carl b. March 24, 1906 d. July 18, 1963 US Congressman. Elected to represent North Dakota in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1961 to 1963. Also served as the Member of the North Dakota State House of Representatives from 1949 to 1960, and Speaker of the North Dakota State House of Representatives, in 1959.
