Sain, Johnny b. September 25, 1917 d. November 7, 2006 Major League Pitcher. Born in Havana, Arkansas, he was a three time All-Star pitcher, playing for the Boston Braves, New York Yankees, and Kansas City Athletics during his eleven year career. He played Major League baseball from 1942 to 1955, taking a three year break to serve in World War II.
