Hatcher, Robert Anthony b. February 24, 1819 d. December 4, 1886 US Congressman. Served as a Major in the Confederate Army during the Civil War. Elected to represent Missouri's 4th District in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1873 to 1879. Also served as a Member of the Missouri State House of Representatives in 1850, and Representative from Missouri in the Confederate Congress from 1864 to 1865. Hearnes, Warren Eastman b. July 24, 1923 d. August 16, 2009 Governor of Missouri. Hearnes was born in Moline, Ill. and his family moved to Charleston, Mo. when he was a child. After High School, Hearnes attended the University of Missouri before he was drafted into World War II. In 1946, President Franklin Roosevelt appointed him to the US Military Academy at West Point.
