Rama (Chulalongkorn) V., King b. September 20, 1853 d. October 23, 1910 King Rama V of Siam's Chakri Dynasty was also known by his given name, Chulalongkorn. Vadhana, Savang b. December 10, 1862 d. December 17, 1955 Queen of Siam. She was born in the Grand Palace in Bangkok, a daughter of King Mongkut and Princess Consort Piam. She became Queen Consort to King Chulalongkorn, and lived to see two of her grandsons - Ananda Mahidol (Rama VIII) and Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) become king. She died in the Grand Palace in Bangkok and was interred in the Royal Cemetery at Wat Ratchabophit.
