Waddell, Reed C. b. 1860 d. April 5, 1895 Folk Figure. Known as "Kid" Waddell, Reed became a professional con man, earning an international reputation and, according to the "Encyclopedia of American Crime," was "without a doubt the greatest of all at the gold brick swindle" where a gold-plated lead brick was passed off as an authentic gold brick. Wilson, Arthur Harrison b. August 17, 1881 d. December 15, 1953 Philippine Insurrection Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. Wilson served as a Second Lieutenant, 6th United States Cavalry.
