• Atwater, John Wilbur    b. December 27, 1840  d. July 4, 1910
  US Congressman. Confederate veteran. Atwater was in the Confederate army during the Civil War, serving with General Robert E. Lee until the surrender at Appomattox. • Rencher, Abraham    b. August 12, 1798  d. July 6, 1883
