Benson, Lucille b. July 17, 1914 d. February 17, 1984 Actress. She was a plump, distinctive and marvelously quirky character, known for her roles in television and movies, from the 1950s to 1980s. Jones Jr., Robert Emmett 'Bob' b. June 12, 1912 d. June 4, 1997 US Congressman. He received a law degree from the University of Alabama in 1937 and became an attorney in Scottsboro. In 1940 he was elected Judge of the Jackson County Court, and he was reelected in absentia in 1945, holding the office until October, 1946.
