Kelley, Ova Arthur b. March 27, 1914 d. December 10, 1944 World War II Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He was killed in action. He served in the United States Army in Company A, 382d Infantry, 96th Infantry Division. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for action on December 8, 1944 at Leyte, Philippine Islands. His citation reads in part "He picked up an M1 rifle and emptied its clip at the running Japanese, killing three. Discarding this weapon, he took a carbine and killed three more of the enemy.
