Aldridge, Ava (Averal) b. February 21, 1946 d. August 12, 2003 Singer, Songwriter. Her songwriting crossed several genres, and she wrote songs for country, rhythm and blues, gospel, and pop music, with two of her songs reaching high chart status twenty years apart. In 1976 she co-wrote the song "Sharing the Night Together" with fellow songwriter Eddie Struzick.
