Goodblood, Clair b. September 18, 1929 d. April 25, 1951 Korean War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Corporal (Machine Gunner) in the United States Army in Company D, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3d Infantry Division. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for action on April 24 and 25, 1951 at Popsu-dong, Korea. He was killed in action. His citation in part reads "Seeing a grenade lobbed at his position, he shoved his assistant to the ground and flinging himself upon the soldier attemped to shield him.
