Turner, James b. November 7, 1783 d. March 28, 1861 US Congressman. Elected to represent Maryland's 3rd and 4th Districts in the United States House of Representatives, he served from 1833 to 1837. He also served as a Member of the Maryland State House of Delegates from 1824 to 1832, 1837 to 1838, and 1852 to 1854, and Member of the Maryland State Senate from 1856 to 1858.
