Seton (Bayley), Saint. Elizabeth Ann b. August 28, 1774 d. January 4, 1821 Roman Catholic Religious Leader. When she was canonized in 1975 by Pope Paul VI, she was the first native-born United States Citizen to be made a Saint by the Roman Catholic Church.
