Elizalde, Joaquin Miguel b. August 2, 1896 d. February 9, 1965 Philippine Statesman. From 1936 to 1941, he served as economic adviser to Philippine President Manuel L. Quezon, a member of the State National Economic Council and on the Joint Preparatory Committee on Philippine Affairs. In 1938 he was appointed Resident Commissioner to the United States Congress and served until his resignation in 1944.
