Hall, Luther Egbert b. August 30, 1869 d. November 6, 1921 Governor of Louisiana. He graduated from Washington and Lee University in 1889, received a law degree from Tulane University in 1892, and became an attorney. In 1898 he was elected to the Louisiana Senate, serving from 1899 to 1901. He served as a Judge of the Louisiana District Court from from 1900 to 1906, and a Judge of the state District Court of Appeals from 1906 to 1911.
