Kaiser, Burton C. b. 1927 d. May 16, 2004 Actor, Producer. In 1956 he produced, co-wrote and acted in "The Female Jungle," the movie that gave Jayne Mansfield her start. He produced the New York production of Brendan Behan's "Borstal Boy," winning both the 1970 Tony Award and the New York Drama Circle Award for best foreign play. He also co-produced a revival of "Arsenic and Old Lace." In 1978, he appeared in a Chicago TV production play as a detective. Ross, Barney David b. December 23, 1909 d. January 18, 1967 Boxer. Born Dov-Ber Rasofsky in New York City, he began his pro boxing career in 1929 and lost only four decisions in 82 fights. He won the World Lightweight Championship in 1933, but relinquished it in 1935, when he failed to make the weight requirement.
