Afshar, Nader b. August 6, 1698 d. June 19, 1747 Shah of Iran. Also known as Nâder Qoli Beg or Tahmâsp Qoli Khân, he ruled as Shah of Iran from 1736 to 1747) and was the founder of the Afsharid dynasty.
