Evill, Sir. Douglas Claude Strathern b. October 8, 1892 d. March 22, 1971 Royal Air Force Commander. During World War II he was instrumental in the setting up of decoy airfields and in the decision to bomb Dresden. Training first as a cadet at Osborne House Naval College, Isle of Wight, he went on to study at Britannia Naval College, Devon.
