Fryatt, Charles Algernon b. December 2, 1872 d. July 27, 1916 Fryatt is the hero and victim of one of the most extraordinary episodes of the First World War. He was a captain of the mercantile and passenger fleet of the Great North Eastern Railway. (Hence his memorial at their London terminus).
