Tognazzi, Ugo b. March 23, 1922 d. October 27, 1990 Acclaimed Italian Actor. He often played comedic roles. Among his films: "Domenica è Sempre Domenica" (1958), "Barbarella" (1968), "Satyricon" (1968), "In Nome del Popolo Italiano" (1971), "La Grande Bouffe" (1973), "La Cage aux Folles" (1978) and "La Batalla de los Tres Reyes" (1990), his last film. He obtained the Cannes Best Actor Award for his performance in "La Tragedia di un Uomo Ridicolo" (1981). He was the father of motion picture director Ricky Tognazzi.
