Chittlehampton, Saint Urith Of Roman Catholic Saint. The Patroness of Chittlehampton, she was said to have been born at East Stowford and at an early age devoted herself to the religous life. Founded the local church and was possibly killed by her pagan stepmother. After she died a spring came up at the site of her death.
