Bourguiba, Habib b. August 3, 1903 d. April 6, 2000 Tunisian President. A native of Monastir, Tunisia, Bourguiba was a noted Tunisian statesman who served as a the first President of the Republic of Tunisia from July 26, 1957 to November 7, 1987.
