Mintoff, Dom b. August 6, 1916 d. August 20, 2012 Maltese Politician, former Prime Minister. Best known as the creator of the independence of Malta. Graduated at the University of Malta in 1943, he obtained his doctorate in Science and Engineering at Oxford.
