Bélanger, Edwin b. November 18, 1910 d. January 14, 2005 Canadian musician, violonist, altist, arranger, music professor and orchestra conductor. A native of Montmagny (Québec), he studied initially the violin the Brothers of the Sacred Heart in his hometown, then at the Minor Seminary of Québec. He became a member of the Symphonic Society of Québec where he played from 1928 to 1931 and obtained the “Prix d’Europe” for the violin in 1933.
