Perraud, Cardinal. Adolphe b. February 7, 1828 d. February 10, 1906 Roman Catholic Cardinal. A native of Lyon, Adolphe-Louis-Albert Perraud entered the Congregation of the Oratory of St. Philip of Neri in Paris in 1852 and was ordained priest there in June 1854. Undergoing further studies at the University of La Sorbonne, from where he earned a doctorate in theology in 1865, he successively lectured at the minor seminary of Coutances.
