Alexander, Ben b. May 26, 1911 d. July 5, 1969 Actor. Born Nicholas Benton Alexander, appeared in 81 films from the 1910s to the 1960s, making his screen debut at age 5 in "Every Pearl a Tear." His best known role as that of 'Kemmerick' the tragic amputation victim in the film "All Quiet on the Western Front".
