Léonard, Rev. Joseph-Romuald b. August 9, 1876 d. February 7, 1931 Canadian religious leader and third bishop of Rimouski. A native of Carleton (Quebec), he made his secondary and theological studies at the seminary of Rimouski and was ordered priest there on February 25, 1899. He worked as secretary of the bishop from 1896 to 1904 and was then named director of the great seminary in 1905. From 1907 to 1919, he served as pastor successively of the parishes of Saint-Damase, Saint-Octave-de-Métis and Mont-Joli.
