Bourgdinon, Frederick George 'Fred' b. June 22, 1906 d. March 18, 1995 Professional Hockey Player. Bourgdinon a native of Parry Sound, Ontario, played for teams in the OHAJR and the NHL hockey leagues. Also known as 'Bergdinon' he played for Parry Sound from 1922 to 1924, Minnesota from 1924 to 1926, and the Boston Bruins from 1925 to 1926. He was killed at the age of 89 in a car accident in Leamington, Ontario, on June 22, 1995, along with his son John. His wife Anna was also killed in a car accident in 1982. Turner, Joseph 'Joe' b. March 28, 1919 d. January 12, 1945 Professional Hockey Player. A native of Windsor, Ontario, the 5'10, and 182lbs, Turner played the position of goalie for the Detroit Red Wings from 1941 to 1942. A veteran of World War II, Turner entered the United States Marine Corps, and served with them from 1942 to 1945. On January 12, 1945, he was killed in action in Holland, at the age of 25.
