Fernós-Isern, Antonio b. May 10, 1895 d. January 19, 1974 US Congressman. He served as a representative of Puerto Rico in the United States Congress from 1946 to 1965. Before his service in Congress, he was the island’s commissioner of health from 1931 to 1933 and from 1942 to 1946, as well as Puerto Rico’s acting governor from 1943 to 1946.
