Brooks, Juanita Leone Leavitt Pulsipher b. January 15, 1898 d. August 26, 1989 Author. A native of Bunkerville, Nevada, she was a historian whose expertise was the American West and Mormon history. A lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she was a graduate of the BYU and Columbia University.
