Heil, Julius Peter b. July 24, 1876 d. November 30, 1949 Wisconsin Governor, Corporate Innovator. In 1901 he formed the Heil Company, pioneering the new metal joining process of welding which largely replaced riveting as the primary means of metal construction. The company grew into America's major manufacturers of dump and garbage trucks, storage and transport tanks, road building equipment, and home heating and cooling units. Keltner, Ken b. October 31, 1916 d. December 12, 1991 Major League Baseball Player. He is best remembered for being the third baseman who made dazzling plays in the first and seventh innings as the Cleveland Indians stopped Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hitting streak before 67,468 fans on July 17, 1941 at Muncipal Stadium.
