Allison, Robert D. b. September 25, 1810 d. December 15, 1900 Civil War Confederate Army Officer. Served as a Colonel in the United States Army during the Mexican War. After the war with Mexico he was elected to the Tennessee State House of Representatives. During the Civil War he served as Colonel and commander of the 20th Tennessee Cavalry, and as Colonel of the 26th Tennessee Infantry. He was wounded 6 times during the conflict. After the the war he settled down in McKinney, Texas, serving as a Town Judge until his death at age 90. Calhoun, William Dee 'Haystack' b. August 3, 1934 d. December 7, 1989 William Dee Calhoun was a professional wrestler, who used the professional name "Haystack" or "Haystacks" Calhoun. At six foot four and over six hundred pounds, he sported a black bushy beard, wore bib overalls and had a horseshoe hanging from his neck to personify a farm boy image. He was raised on a farm in Arkansas. One of the most popular wrestlers in the 1960s, he died of diabetes at the age of 55. Throckmorton, James Webb b. February 1, 1825 d. April 21, 1894 Congressman from Texas, 1875-1879 and 1883-1889; Governor of Texas, 8/9/1866 to 7/30/1867 (Reconstruction). He died from a fall in his old age, due to poor health from kidney disease.
