Bratton, John b. March 7, 1831 d. January 12, 1898 Brigadier General, Confederate States Army. He was educated at South Carolina College and received a diploma in medicine. Bratton enlisted a private in the 6th South Carolina Volunteers. He served in Charleston and Seven Pines, where he was wounded and captured.
