Fischer, Anton Otto b. February 23, 1882 d. March 26, 1962 Acclaimed Illustrator for the Saturday Evening Post. During World War II, was given the rank of "artist laureate" for the United States Coast Guard. The resulting pictures are now in the Coast Guard Academy at New London, Connecticut.
