Bickford, Henry H. b. March 13, 1838 d. May 20, 1917 Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Quartermaster Sergeant in the Union Army. He was awarded the Medal of Honor as a Corporal in Company E, 8th New York Cavalry for action on March 2, 1865 at Waynesboro, Virginia. His citation reads "Recapture of flag."
