Born in Bellingham, Massachusetts, he briefly taught school before graduating from Brown University in 1841. Studying law, he opened an office in Worcester, Massachusetts, and in 1854 moved to Nebraska Territory, where he farmed near Omaha. Williams, Bobby Ray b. February 28, 1942 d. August 5, 2012 Professional Football Player. For five seasons (1966 to 1967, 1969 to 1971), he played at the defensive back position in the National Football League with the St. Louis Cardinals and Detroit Lions. Raised in Nebraska, he attended Lincoln High School and played collegiate football at the University of Central Oklahoma.
