Dorsey, Decatur b. 1836 d. July 10, 1891 Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. Served in the Civil War as a Sergeant in Company B, 39th United States Colored Troops. He was awarded the CMOH for his bravery at Petersburg, Virginia on July 30,1864. His citation reads "Planted his colors on the Confederate works in advance of his regiment, and when the regiment was driven back to the Union works he carried the colors there and bravely rallied the men". Woerner, Christian b. June 25, 1825 d. August 21, 1881 Civil War Union Army Officer. Commissioned as a 1st Lieutenant in the 1st New Jersey Light Artillery, Battery A on July 27, 1861, serving until he resigned October 4, 1862.
