Lloyd (Skaff), Vince b. June 1, 1917 d. July 3, 2003 Sportscaster. Born Vincent Lloyd Skaff, he broadcasted the Chicago Cubs games for WGN-TV and WGN Radio during a career that spanned 38 years. He was first teamed with Jack Brickhouse in the early days of televised Cubs baseball, and in 1961 made history by becoming the first sportscaster to interview a sitting president live at a baseball opener when he talked with President Kennedy prior to Kennedy throwing out the first pitch of the 1961 season.
