Berringer, Brook W. b. July 9, 1973 d. April 18, 1996 Played for the Nebraska Cornhuskers Football Team. He Died in a Plane Crash he was piloting. Berringer, 22, who was expected to be selected in the NFL draft, held a pilot's license and often flew the plane. Berringer had often said he wanted to be a commercial airline pilot. Berringer was 7-0 as a starter during the 1994 season when Tommie Frazier was sidelined with blood clots in his leg.
