Boss, Orlando Phidelio b. July 30, 1844 d. December 28, 1931 Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. Served in the Civil War as a Corporal in Company F, 25th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry. He was awarded the CMOH for his bravery at the Battle of Cold Harbor, Virginia on June 3, 1864. His citation reads “Rescued his lieutenant, who was lying between the lines mortally wounded; this under a heavy fire of the enemy”.
