Berg, George Francis b. December 2, 1868 d. November 27, 1945 Spanish-American War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served in United States Army during the War with Spain as a Private in Company C, 17th United States Infantry. He was awarded the CMOH for his bravery at El Caney, Cuba, on July 1, 1898. His citation reads " "Gallantly assisted in the rescue of the wounded from in front of the lines and while under heavy fire of the enemy." Hanna, Marcus A. b. November 3, 1842 d. December 12, 1921 Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. Served in the Civil War as a Sergeant in Company B, 50th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry. He was awarded the CMOH for his bravry at Port Hudson, Louisiana on July 4, 1863. His citation reads "Voluntarily exposed himself to a heavy fire to get water for comrades in rifle pits".
