Murphy, James William b. 1858 d. 1927 US Congressman. Elected to represent Wisconsin's 3rd District in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1907 to 1909. Also was Mayor of Platteville, Wisconsin. He was defeated as a Democrat in 1920 Calvary Cemetery, Platteville, Grant County, Wisconsin, USA
