Kahler, Frank 'Nick' b. March 18, 1891 d. January 8, 1983 Hall of Fame Hockey Player. Born in Dollar Bay, Michigan, in 1916, he was a member of the St. Paul Athletic Club when they won the McNaughton Cup against Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and defeated Lachine, Quebec, for the Art Ross Trophy in 1920. In 1920 Kahler launched the Minneapolis Millers in the United States Amateur Hockey Association.
