Judah, Henry Moses b. June 12, 1821 d. January 14, 1866 Civil War Union Brigadier General. He graduated from West Point in 1843 and fought in the war with Mexico. When the Civil War erupted he helped raise the 4th California Volunteers and became its Colonel in September, 1861. The 4th, served in the Washington defenses and he was promoted to Brigadier General in March, 1862. He was named Acting Inspector General of the Army of Tennessee and commanded a division during the Battle of Corinth, Mississippi.
