He is best known for his poetic works "The Dream Songs," which often revolved around the sordid details of his personal problems. Binz, Rev. Leo b. October 31, 1900 d. October 9, 1979 Roman Catholic Archbishop. Archbishop Binz was the sixth Archbishop of Dubuque. It is believed that he was the first priest of the Rockford, Illinois Diocese to become a Bishop. Archbishop Binz was ordained a Priest on Mar 15, 1924, and was ordained a Bishop in December of 1942. In 1942, Binz was named the apostolic administrator of the Diocese of Winona, Minnesota due to the failing health of Bishop Francis Kelley of Winona. Giuliani, Angelo John 'Tony' b. November 24, 1912 d. October 8, 2004 Major League Baseball Player. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, he was a catcher making his debut with the St. Louis Browns on April 18, 1936. For seven seasons, he played with the St. Louis Browns (1936-37), Washington Senators (1938-39, 1943) and Brooklyn Dodgers (1940-41). He concluded his career with a record of 157 hits, 58 runs scored, 69 runs batted in and a .233 batting average. He died at age 91 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Montantes, Johnny b. June 10, 1969 d. September 28, 1997 Boxer. He was a lightweight boxer with a record of 28 wins and 4 losses with 22 of those wins coming by way of a knockout. On September 26 1997 he was knocked out in the 6th round by James Crayton. He suffered a brain injury during the fight and died from the injury at a Las Vegas hospital on September 28, 1997.
