Bretto, Joseph Thomas "Joe" b. November 28, 1912 d. January 27, 2007 Professional Hockey Player. A native of Hibbing, Minnesota, he played the position of defense for the National Hockey League's Chicago Blackhawks (1944 to 1945). The 6'01, and 250lbs, Bretto also played for several minor league teams of the CHL, CAHL, AHA, USHL, and the IHL, including the Hibbing Maroons, Hibbing Miners, Minneapolis Millers, St. Paul Saints, Cleveland Barons, and the Windsor Bulldogs.
