Andersen, Elmer Lee b. June 17, 1909 d. November 15, 2004 Minnesota Governor. A native of St. Paul, Minnesota, Andersen served as the Governor of Minnesota from 1961 to 1963. He was elected in 160 and defeated in 1962. Andersen also served as a Delegate to the Republican National Convention from Minnesota in 1948, and Member of the Minnesota State Senate from 1949 to 1959. Jaros, Tony b. February 22, 1920 d. April 22, 1995 Original member of the Minneapolis Lakers in 1947. LeDoux, Scott b. January 7, 1949 d. August 11, 2011 Professional Boxer. Called the "Fighting Frenchman", he fought for the heavyweight championship title in 1980 but lost to Larry Holmes. He also fought George Foreman, Ken Norton and Leon Spinks. In his nine-year career his overall record was 33 wins, 13 losses and 4 draws with 22 knockouts. After retiring from the ring he worked as a boxing analyst for ESPN and was twice elected Anoka County Commissioner. LeDoux died of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). (Bio by: D.
