Hiester, Daniel b. June 25, 1747 d. March 7, 1804 US Congressman and Revolutionary War General. He was a member of the Hiester Family political dynasty. He was a brother John and Gabriel, uncle of William and Daniel, and cousin of Joseph. After completing his education at local schools he entered the mercantile business in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
