Laverty, Jean b. April 3, 1904 d. September 28, 1973 Actress. Best known for her role as Mary Malone in the 1928 film, "So This Is Love?", directed by Frank Capra. A native of Blue Lake, California, she was born Gladys Louise Laverty, but used the alias of Jean Barry or Jean Bary, when appearing in motion pictures.
