Wayne, David b. January 1, 1958 d. May 10, 2005 Musician. Born David Wayne Carnell, he was the original lead singer for the heavy metal band Metal Church. In 1984 they released their first album "Metal Church" followed by "The Dark" in 1986. A live album was also recorded in 1984 but not released until 1998. In 1989 he left Metal Church and formed Reverend, performing on the albums "Reverend EP" in 1989, "World Won't Miss You" in 1990, "Play God" in 1991, and "Live" in 1992.
