Finnegan, Joseph b. November 17, 1814 d. October 29, 1885 Civil War Confederate Brigadier General. Along with Brigadier General Alfred Holt Colquitt, he was in command of the defense of Florida from Union troops at Olustee on February 20, 1864. The battle, while small compared to other battles of the war, was the largest in Florida. Kilbourn, Byron [original burial site] b. September 8, 1801 d. December 16, 1870 Business Magnate, Milwaukee Mayor. The son of United States Congressman James Kilbourne, he worked in Ohio as a surveyor and state engineer, and moved to Wisconsin in 1834. In 1837 he established Kilbourntown on 160 acres west of the Milwaukee River.
